General
What are the age restrictions?
Players need to be at least 6 years old and at least 110cm tall.
Do you take cash or card?
We take both.
What are your opening times?
Monday to Friday 4pm to 10pm. Saturday and Sunday 10am to 10pm. During school holidays and public holidays (including Eid) we are open 11am to 10pm.
Do I have to pre-book?
No, walk-ins are welcome. Booking online secures your time, which is a good idea at weekends and in the holidays.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. Weekday Lazer gives you three games for £10 from Monday to Friday during term time, and there are Friday, Sunday and Early Bird offers too. See Prices and offers for all current deals.
Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds, as per our policy.
What is the minimum number of players for a game?
The minimum number of players to start a game is 2.
What is the maximum number of players?
Up to 60 players can be in the arena at any one time.
How long is each game?
Each game lasts 15 minutes. If it is your first visit there is a short induction before your first game.
Will we play with other people?
Yes, players from other groups play at the same time.
Can we have the arena to ourselves?
We do not run exclusive games for standard bookings, so other players will be in the arena too. For a private event, ask about a corporate or group booking.
Can I go into the arena with my child to supervise without playing?
Unfortunately not, for health and safety reasons. You can watch the action on the live cameras from reception and the party rooms.
Where do we park?
Star City has free parking right outside. We are in Unit 27, next to the main cinema entrance.
Parties
How much do parties cost?
Our three party packages start from £16.95 per person on weekdays, with a minimum of 10 guests. Every package includes your own themed room, hot food and dessert, drinks and printed invitations. See the Parties page for everything that is included.
What party rooms do you have?
Two themed party rooms, Fortnite and Galaxy, which has a balcony view over the arena, plus our Glow in the Dark party with neon props for every guest.
What food is included?
Silver parties get two large pizzas, chicken nuggets and fries with unlimited squash. Gold and Glow parties get three large pizzas or two pizzas and two portions of nuggets, with fries, extra sides and a choice of squash or slush. Every guest gets a dessert. Tell us about allergies when you book.
What do I need to bring?
Just the birthday cake and the guests. We handle the room, the food, the games and the clearing up.
